What Have I been Up to?

Hey all! I hope this winter finds everybody warm and cozy! I just thought that I aught to touch bases and tell everybody what I’ve been up to lately. 😉

Heathers Studio

I’ve been doing a lot of illustration art and posting it on my other blog at: heatherstinnett.wordpress.com. Please follow my other blog and see what else I’m up to!

On my other blog, I’ve been doing illustrations for a children’s book my sister and I wrote called, The Monster. It’s been a fun project, and I’m excited to be finding my style as a children’s book illustrator. I can’t wait to get it finished and show it to the world! Check out my other illustrations here:https://heatherstinnett.wordpress.com/

Just recently, I started getting into hand drawn animation. This is a gif I created using Clip Studio Paint. It’s  a great program! See my blog post about it here:https://heatherstinnett.wordpress.com/2016/12/11/my-first-animated-gif/

Thanks for keeping up with my projects! I hope to see you on both of my blogs. I just wanted to let y’all know that I’m still keeping busy, it’s just been on another blog. 😉

A New Tool and My Newest Digital Drawing

My Lovely family has pitched in and has helped me buy my  very own laptop! I’m very excited as this will really help me create digital art. I’m hoping to create graphic novels and this laptop will hopefully help speed up production! My other blog is where I am sharing most of my digital work. I forgot to show my latest picture called, No Greater Love. Its a tract I made for Valentines Day. Feel free to share it! I’m so happy to have this new laptop and hope to start creating a whole bunch of art! Thank you all for joining me! Have a wonderful week!

A Woman that Fears the Lord, She Shall be Praised

A woman that fears the Lord blog

Pro_31:30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.

I painted this yesterday as a graduation card for my friend. She’s a good girl and I’m proud of her. Praying that God will continue to direct her path and help her to know what is his will for her.  I tried to make this damsel in my painting look similar to my friend. It was fun to try and find the right paints to match her hair color.

Illistrating My First Book~Secret Under the Apple Tree ~Adding Color

After outlining my sketch with pen, I added watercolor. The color is very vibrant! And the hard textured paper seems to cup it and hold it ( at least, that’s what I imagine its doing). 😉
I’m not sure what paint I’m using, because I got my pallet from an estate sale, which still had left over paint inside. But from the other paints I got from there, I figure its Winsor and Newton, or Grumbaucher. I never used those before, so I was very pleased at their quality! When your just starting out, you can’t afford expensive paints. I feel very blessed to have all the supplies I need now to create my illustrations!
